Nice people kind. Awesome teachers. Nice principal
In light of what was said upstairs, the shooting this morning was only a tip of the iceberg.
Hope you have found something better to do than supply-teaching here.
TDSB officials probably are no less sleepish watching this school (and many others) to make nobody shoots anybody.
Great public pool!
It is a great school. I am currently in grade 9 here and I love it! The only thing would be some of the disobedient grade 12's.
Very good public school and this place is also used as an air cadet training center for 180 squadron
Vasily Vaisman was here
Best ever School in the neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere and very convenient.
A really good place to enroll your children. It has a high academic expectation and there is no bullying or any nonsense in the school. Teachers are fairly nice and the students are welcoming. An amazing place to learn. It has positive attitude! I would recommend this school to anyone!
Great school, I was there as a volunteer to teach a one day "Economics for Success" class (provided by Junior Achievement). Teachers were helpful and the students were great. I found the kids to be engaged and participatory.
Its amazing because you have amazing teachers, theres a wide varitey of awsome clubs, good people if you hang out with the right ones, and its just fun and amazing!
Charles Gordon is a great school that provides students with wonderful teachers, a wide variety of activities (extra curricular programs are a huge part of CG!) and fantastic place to learn and make new friends!
The moment I went to this school I started getting picked on. They started being racist to me and started nagging me every single day. Plus my teacher was a complete garbage can that messed-up my report card because of his horrible teaching skills.
Unfortunate, complete, and immediately apparent lack of passion for children and their development.
I walked in to use the vending machine once and the staff stood and watched me, waiting for me to leave. They don't want you to be there. It is the most inconvenient place I've ever been. I'm insulted to have ever set foot in that embarrassment for a publicly funded facility.
They understand and respects kids prespectives and the teachers and staff did give us a lot of support when my kid was unwell for a long period of time
Kids love it, lots of programs and activities
Its a great place where you can become who ever you want to be. The staff there are very kind and are open to help.(during my time(
Very great school because i made alot of good friends there
Terrible! Staff is unprofessional and not open to any discussion. The parents have no saying and the principal is not approachable and unfriendly. Good neighborhood though ...
The place has a bad choice of staff. If you get bullied here they don't care about it. Most important the principal is a egotistical maniac
Went to this school. Absolutely amazing
It's ok this school
Best place for people living in this neighborhood (between Finch and Steeles) to get their kids to attend different activities classes during winter breaks.
They Didn't accept me when I applied, all the people in this school smells, and I like dick.
Great friends and people and fun everyday
The greatest highschool I know. It gave me a diploma, but most importantly, the teachers that helped me along the way contributed to my maturation into a good man. Thats a blessing I could never forget.
Great place, used to work for different not-for-profit there
Awesome school with great teachers who inspire children to break barriers and stereotypes.
Great teachers and everything
it is awesome 😄💖
Because I can have friends
They don't answer the phone....
Loved working here, great office building with lots of great folks working there, great location with lots of options aroubd for things to do to food to eat to just places to site relax and unwind
they r kids inside of this place and book not very fantastic
THESE GUYS HAVE TOO MANY ATHLETES YAH?! SHARE SOME TO THE OTHER SCHOOLS SO THEY CAN WIN!!!! dese guise suck bum bum
I want to this school too I met my friend Erin there
I actually went to this school and ive never felt so discriminated. terrible vice-principal and teachers. mr archer is good though but other than him I honestly think this school should be burnt to the ground. the gym sucks, the teachers are racist and just so you know I was suspended for getting a fight with another white kid but he didn't get suspended... I wonder why?
My sister went to this school her name is Aliza and she loved it so I loved it too
This school sucks, ghetto students who think that they are all that, and can mess around with any one they want. But it is not only students, this school has the most worst teachers in the world, they dont care about your future and they only come there to walk around and mock students. In class, students act like monkeys and teachers dont give a damn. I dont even know how this school is standing right now, it has some of the most stupidest people in the world, from stupid students who come to skip class the whole day to old ass teachers who wont even retire even if they found out they were about to die. Never come to this school, only come come if you are looking to graduate with no future. I mean its not impossible to get a good future but you gotta work harder for it, cause you gotta learn every god damn thing in class yourself and you have to deal with stupid teachers yourself too, so that they dont fail you for no reason. I know some teachers that have failed students just because they didnt like the student, and also teachers failing more than half the students in a class. Right now i think that this school will prolly close down in like 2/3 years. Never come to this school.
This school is one of the best schools in the Toronto area. This school offers amazing programs and the teachers are down to earth and help you a lot. The students are very polite and they are all friendly with one another! Shout out to the best teachers Mr. Mohan and Mr. Persaud!!! WOOOO
I currently go there, and its amazing
Hi i am a former student of Donwood
does anyone have the email of Mrs Knapp i would really like to get in contact with her
Played ball hockey with my son in the park, clean
I love Donwood Park. It really is the place to be!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best robotics team.
I know on the news u saw that a kid die at this school, but all the other rumors are not true. Its a pretty good school.
People giving 5 star and just saying excellent doesn't help giving a positive review about this institution, Be reasonable on your reviews people. The principal and management cut down cost and expenses dramatically on security for almost 2 months back in July 2014. This action of the management lead to a disastrous consequence that led to death of a student back in 23 September 2014. When he was killed there were no police or guards in and around the school. To me it appears this institution is not serious about students security. And don't get me started all the problems and issues arrived after that.
Good moments and well good students
dis school is sick bahd
I was a lousy student but it was a great school!!!!
I've been a part of the Lawrence Park Collegiate community since my son started there. The administration and staff have been so amazing and helpful. They truly are there to help the students achieve their goals and motivate them.
We have a nice school.
Yeah, it's awesome here (most of the time). Best school. 5/5 stars! :D
Fairglen is an extraordinary school. The staff are wonderful and really helpful.
Great school! Love it here, would recommend. I rate this school 11 Pencils Out of 10 Pencils!
This school is awesome
there are pro's and cons about the school. the school it'self is amazing! the teachers are cool. the worst problem i found is the students, there was quite a few fight when i went
This school is amazing . The teachers and staff are really caring when it comes to their students . The school infrastructure needs improvement , especially when it comes to winter and raining season . The roof really needs to be done . What the heck is the parent council doing for fundraising ?
Piece of shit school.
This school is the best. The teachers are very good. I recommend
Wrong location. This is Blantyre
It is agrat school lots of clubs and fun things and good teaching staff
Best school in the world great teachers and lots of fun in general
A good school with very dedicated teachers 👍
A good school
I like my school
Okay so I edited my review on my apple account and since my friend also reviewed after me I'm not above the guy that I said that was "below me". Okay guys onto my 2 review the school Is amazing but is only rated 3.8 out of 5 with 5 reviews and I'm the 6th so hopefully it goes up. There is no farting in class or you will actually get kicked out of the class or burping accidentally and politely saying excuse me.
As the guy below me said I think that only the teachers are disrespectful because yesterday In 3rd period I got kicked out of class for saying "DATZ nice" once in the hour and 15 minutes you had in that class and my FREIND helped someone and got in some random ass shit just by helping someone. And this morning my band teacher gave me a dirty look on his face instead of saying hello.
the school is good but the techers are not
Some students (not all) were absolutely disgusting filth. Bad parenting likely. Throwing snowballs at TTC busses, counterfeit tickets being printed, the bus shelter was overtaken by smokers, weed being rolled in class without any serious teacher intervention. Lots of bullying towards others. No teachers really stand out.
Worst years of my life
Well, I personally have not been to this school but my niece n nephew went to this school n the teachers seems not to cares, n most black students who needed help was not given. Anyhow, one of my friend is looking for High school for her child but she is very very scared to put her child at mowat. So do u guys has any suggestions of high schools in the area? Both Catholic and public. N do the teachers mice n respectful of students?
Please give me some input. Thanks
This place was terrible and was home to some of the most vile trash (students and faculty) on this planet.
Its a good middle school just its hard to adopt to the new school system so heads up grade 5's going to GA the education is great but why i rate it a 4 because it took me the first 3 school days "how do i use this sink" until someone in grade 8 told me that you step on a lever that opens the sink! Magic! Also there's tons of sports teams and at lunch hour and after school its a great place to socialize with your friends! Just be careful around school hours; over 200 cars travel on the driveway (where the staff park) during the mornings and at least 150 after school. If your parents let you you could even go to McDonalds, Plymouth or harveys and dont forget to practice at topam park!
Been a while.
This is my school!
Knob Hill Public School is an amazing school they have excellent and wonderful staff the children are sooooooo smart even the kindergartens they recycle every Thursday and there caretaker does such a good job taking care of the school and keeping it clean so i recommend Knob Hill Public School for a good education for your child.
This school is awesome , you WOULD want your child coming here
My son is doing very well in this school! Would reccomend your child coming to this school! 😀👍🏼

Academically competitive junior HS. It has a gifted program.
LOCAL JUNIOR HIGH
i am going there next year and people say it is awesome
Best School EVER!!!
My school will be here
a great school anyone would ask for.... all the good people you could see on the face of earth work in this school, teach in this school, study in this school. has a very good reputation and the school's current principal is very strict with discipline issues>>>> there are many students who come to this school just cause theie parents want them to learn in such environment...
Its a good highschool. Learned a lot and had tons of fun.
amazing school! i don't know why so many people say it's a bad school?
Great staff and student body.
acceptable school not that good and its so hot inside this school.
Am waiting longer time
Great place for TDSB teachers to get books and for training!
School is very dirty
Best Teachers and a variety to student opportunities
A waste school
It was ok
A well regarded Toronto high school.
Sketch school but has good teachers and pretty good program
I had pretty great teachers during my time at Garneau but there was this one teacher who annoyed me...........White..........
teachers didn't meme hard enough held me back from my dreams and aspirations from being a professional illuminati conspiracist 0/10 worst school euw would not recommend
ps vithusan benny is not challenger god dammit
Your average middle school
Describe your experience
Best school ever
This is an amazing school of the arts
It has a very good and exciting arts program, doing all of the arts may overwhelm you though. A fun and peaceful school with good students. They prepare you well for highschool. The education at this school is even better than most highschools, however the size of the school is more like a preschool and it is in a nice quiet area. Very good school overall, of course the underlying negative thing is doing all the arts may overwhelm you.

its amazing apply
A great public school for kids in grade 6 to 8. It's got a small number of kids which leads to a close nit community.
Best school ever!!love it here!!

Best school ever! 3rd year here!
Amazing school, great learning environment
Best school ever!!

Perfect and caring school staff
The school I wanted to attend.
Kids play on stage here easy access good stage comfycseats great school
I was part of the students who started the performing arts program Love the school love the staff the friends but to top it all off I wanna say Mrs Marsh is the best dance teacher we are so very lucky to have had an outstanding influence in our lives. Thank you Rosedale for the great memroies. and yes Mr sketchley still rings that bell...lol
nice people and friendly staff and students
Amelia Rose Brown is such a talent! Rosedale is the key for being as successful as this goddess.
Great prefomances by great dancers!
I love this school
POS school, ran by POS facility.
I love b&b that's where my kids go to school
i love that school great teachers and really great people!
When you move to DA, there is this fun little thing called "the three strikes system". The three strikes system is also known as "the learning skills opportunities", which I disagree with, but that's a whole other story. In the three strikes system, you get strikes for doing the smallest things such as, forgetting a pencil to class, zoning out in class, and if you hand in a note instead of emailing/calling your gym teacher and letting him know you can't swim. I feel that this system is very extra, the teachers strike you for the smallest things. My swimming teacher strikes me for not going into the deep end yet I never did my deep end test, nor do I think I can handle going into the deep end. If you get 3 strikes you are sent to the detention room for 2 days or you're sent for a week. Most schools have this system and I think this system is very unorganized. Have fun at DA!
This school is pretty good :)
Great school i would of did 5 star but unfortunately me and my school lose 2 then in a vollyball tournament. Very nice people though
This school was most definitely an improvement from Secord. The only downside is that every time I go to pool in my class, it is just free time and we never actually learn to swim. Pool is okay, gym is fun and its an okay school but much better then Secord.
I went to this school in 2015 and I have had some of the best teachers, classmates, and guidance who was always willing to help me and change my courses. There were a lot of plays and events and I had a lot of fun in this school.
Dumb school with a rubish guidance office.
Its my school. I like it. Its the year 2012 and the school has great school spirit.
Bad teachers and administrative staff
i have miss canada so much. how i wish i could come back there again to commence mu education
Stated work on Dec.8/14
This school was awesome to attend as a kid! Very clean, high tech, awesome teachers!
No words to express.
Great Teachers. Not a bad location.
Teachers don't really seem to care anymore. The bathrooms are TERRIBLE and the office ladies are pretty rude
I've been at The Elms for my third year now. Since moving into middle school the environment has helped me to improve and has shaped me to become the person I am today. The teachers are caring and supportive for the most part, there are so many things to participate in. I love being a student here and anyone who comes here will grow to love it.
My history is there in grad 5 with Mr. Trimble back in the 83,84 . Big school. Great pool. Good memories. Up to bat in baseball 95% of the time it was a homerun. Yeah I was good at that. Now living in Vancouver haveing a good life. Miss you all. Thanks
Attended in the opening year 1960-61. My happiest school year ever. The school seemed to have such a friendly atmosphere and was in an attractive residential setting. It was not misnamed - there were plenty of trees around. Would gladly live that year all over again.
Mr turco you'll always be hated
my daughters takes jk program here. The teacher is nice to rvery kid, knows all the details of my daughter, also gives very helpful suggestions for us to develop her skills.
I love churchill
Awesome host and amazing classes. The school is soo cool
yes very air conditiony
so, i'm attending don valley and let me just say if your in gr6 going to gr7.. you have to go to dv! it's the best of the best, and the students and teachers are just amazing. you will have the best moments ever... even if your friends aren't going to dv, i guarantee you'll make friends on the first dayyyyy. liteerally, everyone in each grade is friends and knows each other.. it's kind of crreepy but cool:)
COME TO DV. YOU WON'T REGRET . EVVVVVVVVVVER,:)
Already had a dangerously low enrollment count for a school of its size...and now that they've rejigged the school into a middle school by eliminating grade 9, the school is on a bullseye for closure
Don't know what all those comments involving "dope", "teenage pregancy", and "the woodshop teacher" is about. When I went there, no one took drugs (as far as I know), no one got pregnant (also "as far as I know"), and the woodshop teacher was NEVER described in the manner as the other review(s) did. It was probably a joke or something. The school was a nice school excluding a couple (who am I kidding, more than 10) of students who were a little "off" in my opinion. There was a little light bullying, but not exceeding normal for a JHS. The teachers were nice and the school was pretty athletic, but kind of messed up, like when you have a desk with papers all over it. That was kind of like the events at the school. The schedule was kind of confusing. The French Immersion students were a bit stuck up, but it's only my opinion.
the dope isnt the best but it dose the job SMITH GANG
I agree the dope the teachers give aren't the best but the woodshop teacher is a total hunk!! Meowww
This school is ok but since it became a middle school I hate it cause all the rules are changed and there's more of them lot of the good teachers left but the worse and bad teachers are still there so it's all right...
Ithas really good teachers and my classes are good.
An amazing school that prepares you do High School
Good school, good teachers
Horrible school #BMS
I will truly miss this school ^_^
the insides are old and the people arent very friendly :((
Here is a deeply honest opinion about this school. I went from the years 2010-2015. From my years going to this school I realized the benefits and dislikes of this school going through certain experiences of my own. This school was a roller-coaster ride for me.
1.The "Extended French Program" by far the money maker for L'Amoreaux and the reason for almost every student, especially international students who want to expert themselves in the foreign language. The program allows you to basically understand the history of the French language as well as future accommodations such as a trip to Europe or Montreal for some of the lucky ones.
2.The amount of clubs and after school programs for those interested in Technology. These programs delve into a wide variety of things so you don't have to say, " So were just building machines". Programs such as the Robotics Program, The Young Builders Program, The Construction Club, The Band Club, anything that has to do with revolutionizing the world, they provide it.
3. They have a swimming pool as well as a football, track, soccer & baseball field. Their gymnasium is 4 rooms big with at-least 8 hoops. Their swimming pool is also about the same size.
4. Student Appreciation is a thing because they have a student association known as the SAC where they vote for people.
5. After school help is provided for children who are looking to improve their grades.
6. Numerous amounts of scholars and graduates as well as people who take their education seriously.
1. The area it is in is surrounded by houses as well as TCHC communities. It is right spot in the middle of three more known violent neighbourhoods with children from those neighbourhoods enrolling. Don't get me wrong they are just children and children must be educated but a known few carry the negativity taught from their neighbourhoods and its very saddening. The three areas are:
Chester Le - A good majority come from here because the school is located roughly 10 minutes to their neighbourhood. Pharmacy & Finch is the location. This area is highly known for youth violence, distrust amongst the community is common. Mostly Somalian and Caribbean. Long-term hatred for another area known as Glendower Circuit.
Glendower Circuit - Very few from this area go to L'Am because the home school for much of the children is Stephen Leacock. It is also located 10 minutes away, Birchmount & Finch is the location. This area is also highly known for youth violence, distrust among the community is also common. Mostly Caribbean and South Asian. Long-term hatred for another area known as Chester Le.
Silver Springs - Known as the neutral area but does carry some history. Located just above Glendower on Birchmont & Finch, it is home to wide amount of members of the South Asian & Caribbean community. Although it is not known for much violence, it is still owned by TCHC and considered to be a very impoverished neighbourhood. It is widely popular for the arms trafficking of cocaine and smuggling of other drugs and used as a hub for members of the Glendower community.
2. Bullying, this is when my experiences come in. There are programs for bullying but it isn't the type of bullying where you see a kid get gleefully picked on by a jerk 15 year old. This type of bullying is very traumatic. Much of the bullying tactics the school takes into consideration don't really have much effect for many reasons, one, the type of help does not match the remedy of bullying. Two, the person being bullied is insecure of coming out. The type of bullying that happens are female verbal abuse, gossip, physically hitting women, graffiti etc. In terms of men, they are physical abuse, gang robbery, gang physical assault, targeted robbery etc. Cyber-bullying is also common but there aren't any severe cases where I've heard of.
Good but can be better with more effort to keep the place organized, hygienic and a better image.
Has Extended French. Has a lot of technological courses if you like that. It definitely helped me.
I love my new school
the school with the red statue.
this school is wauwie like wow swag
Ball court is to dusty
Meh. I know their Borden ball team sucks. I played against them in 2014.
Very unfriendly office staff/secretary at this school. Just be warned that when you have to speak to a representative there for what ever information or reason, you will not be able to maintain a straight communication without having the woman interrupt you. It was especially inappropriate for the woman to speak to teachers around them while speaking to me. If in the case, you are having a bad day, don't express that to people you don't know. You are the face of your school, and one person's embarrassment is going to be another person's accountability.
I'm a student. So believe me when I say it is good.
I'm getting some lag, time seems to slow down as the day progresses? Fix in next patch please, literally unplayable
The office staff rarely ever check their voice-mail system I called in to say that my bro was absent and the system said to leave a voice mail and I did and then the school called me again!? Like ugh! -_- also the office staff really need to check their voice-mail box more often... the worst school possible...
I like turdelz
Great music program
My experience at Churchill Heights has molded me into the man that I am today, though the teachers are fairly strict, they mean the best for you and help you in any possible way to help you get successful. The Gifted program really helps and brings out the "Gifted Students" potential. The music program at the school is fantastic and really helps bring out your passion and love for music. The school is involved with many extra curricular programs such as senior band which happens after school and P.E.G (Programming Enrichment Group) where dedicated students go after school to the near by Gifted/Non High school, Woburn. All in all, I would recommend this School to Non-Gifted South-Asians and to all Gifteds.
I've been attending this school for my whole elementary school life from junior kindergarten all the way to grade 8 and I think this school is amazing. Yes the school had a bad reputation before but now with our new Principle everything has changed. Our school ranking has improved a lot and all the teachers are friendly and kind to the students.
No it think Hi hug him in HK on ink Hi hug by ink ohm in I'll
This is a pretty good school I guess. They teach you a lot and really connect with the students. I have two generation that have gone to this school so I guess they must be doing something right. Awesome school I encourage everyone to go here.
I go to these school and now I'm In grade four from kindergarten
Great school, but has a horrible reputation. Mostly because most students are recognized as foolish people. However, recently it seems that students are getting better and the horrible reputation is going away. Great school, still having a great time here.
It's the BEST Middle School! get it?
Horrible place. Retarded students.
i like it but evryone der is wired
Hey, its Devesh and I have been in this school since kindergarten to grade 6 and this school is amazing and all the teachers and the staff are phenomenal , and so I would go to this school if I lived there and I have.
it is so small
I Love My School
Valley Park is a school where you have students coming from a variety of ethnic backgrounds,
there is always something new to bring to the table. There are many opportunities for students to get involved into.
No one ever answers the phones in the office. And the staff seems to be unorganized.
Not a very good school. Very rude.
Nice and clean very friendly staff.
it smells like
sweaty children in the washrooms
you don't wanna know what happens in the change rooms
I hate that school ☺
Very unorganized. When your late- even by a minute, they make you wait in a long line, and make you even more late. Certain teachers were rude, and had no regards for the student. The gym space was adequate, but was very crowded. There was three classes in the gym at a time. The library was a good space, but all the good books were usually signed out. The computers were slow and old.
I love being their now when I see it it makes me cry a little*cry*
Kind of a weird school as it offers only grade 7 and 8 and doesn't have walls separating most of its classrooms
I went to White Haven and I loved it! Back in my primary school days, it was always so fun and interactive. I can say that the teachers there really inspired my thirst for knowledge.
Cedar Drive is #1
i kimda like cedar drive its the best
It is no doubt a far cry from my attendance heyday when Mr Perkins was the principal c 1953 to 1960 Mr Wall was my inspiration as my science teacher ( I'm now a PhD) and Miss Wynne was my homeroom heart throb
The computers suck, the washrooms are ancient, and the pool is full of mold. Hope that you don't have to come here. The Friday night dungeon sessions are the worst...............
I love it
Good school, been there before.
MI NUH CARE 💯
It's a pretty gr8 school y'all and the person who said, 'good school, been there before' is still in that school lmao.
SUCKS, REALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My school 😃😃
This school lets out hoards of obnoxious, loud, and rude children who scream at the top of their lungs as they saunter down the middle of the streets on a daily basis. They often walk through people's lawns, chase cats that are outside, and seem to have no problem walking right up to people's homes for no reason.
I have personally even seen them notice a family's dog inside the house, walk up to the window, and proceed to photograph themselves teasing the animal.
This is not the place to send your child if you intend for them to grow up to be a functioning member of society.
I love this school is the best these days the school,is well behaved this is an amazing school
worst school ever
A Google User that is all wrong. its a freaking middle school and they are not children. they are teenagers. most of the ppl here are bust playing a sport or on their phones. none of the students even have time to photograph teasing of a dog. it actually tier house a freaking middle school, they
its not that bad but they initate people which means beat up
This school is like goose shit. There are zainabs that turn everyone into them. Save yourselves while you can.
The best school ever
Pretty good school.
Took them a few years to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 computers.
It also took over three years to get WiFi in the entire school instead of just select places such as the lunch room or the library.
The school is in a pretty good location with Tim Horton's and Dary Qween near by, great places to go on lunch to. There is a church near by who serve free food on Thursdays.
Not a wide variety of courses are taught, but covers things from cosmetology to auto mechanics. The auto mechanics cource has cars that students work with and understand.
(They were also donated a new vehicle recently)
Overall the school is great and what should be expected of a high school, but could do with some upgrades to nowadays technology but are finally starting to do that I seems.
Pretty good school. Teachers here are awesome
i've been to 2 other schools (Essex public school and some place i can't remember, i went for just junior kindergarten ) this school is the worst school i've ever been to, starts doing probability and fractions in grade 5, at essex we started that in grade 2
I love this school!!! I grew up in it
I go there
This school is awesome i have been here since jk to half of grade 5, i had to move i miss my friends and awesome teachers
I loved it
I went to the school since JK and I loved it up till grade 4. You see I'm in grade 5 now and I'm in a portable (P.9). Now that we have Cresentowns this school might go to G.W to Cresentown#2. Overall its a good school.
I mean teachers are great and they teach good but they should really take out the portables and make the school bigger but I guess it's a good school! :)
This school has a good swimming pool which you can register using Jack of all Sports.
This school is awesome. It has a large gym, great teachers, and good this school is generally awesome
this school is not good
I love my school we are amazing
Such a cool school man
its is a prison
11/10 It reminds me of a modern Idaho prison - IGN
Wonderful expertise, i really enjoyed my stay at this day time hotel, i didn't have to do any work and i felt relaxed.
A lot of the teachers have anger issues. Also if your parents take the teacher out to dinner then they will give you free marks. Won't say any names but I know a girl who handed in terrible work but was given A's because her mom was friends with the teacher.
Good school, nice teachers, and good overall environment
This school is actually retarded seriously the teachers are liers (especially ms park) and there are kids that LITERALLY STEAL MONEY FROM THE TEACHERS... So pretty much this school is garbage teachers are bad kids are bad so if reccomend any other school than this garbage... Kill me
Really good school back when I used to go there, then our "new principle came" - Ms. Yamamoto. She's just a horrible person and principle
Great school, cooperative and accommodating atmosphere.
My family has had a very negative experience with this school and I would estimate that I am not alone in my experience. The administration and staff regularly engage in unfair, discriminatory and judgmental practices. The Fraser Institute has ranked this school at or below 5/10 among elementary schools in Toronto for the last several years and for good reason. The teachers and principals at this school are sorely lacking in cultural competence. They bring their negative personal bias' and judgment to the way they interact with students and parents, particularly those from racialized groups and those who have a less than affluent socioeconomic status. They could certainly use some specialized anti-racist/anti discriminatory training in addition to the mandatory school board training that they obviously sleep through. There are good teachers at the school but they are an exception to what is generally a horrible school. Why the community, school staff, and the Toronto District School Board are comfortable with such a consistently substandard school is beyond me. Change is required.
A really good school
Went to orientation.... WISH I COULD MOVE THERE!!!
worst school na they deleted my other google review because zexi reported it 0/10 would not meme again.
There is a swimming pool. Looks like open to public
If the school takes out ms. Abramovitch, everyone in the office and the front desk lady in the gudience office, this would be the best school. (These ladies are really mean)
I love school because the last time is done it to Monday
I don like this school i day day
This is the worst school ever! The teachers and even the principal were rude; for goodness sake, one of my teachers yelled at my parents for bringing a messy snack! And don't even get me started on the curriculum.
Its a great school
Good school, nice environment. The teachers I've had so far are pretty good, but the cafeteria is really noisy and crowded. If you prefer a quiet environment to eat lunch, I suggest sitting in the hallway or stairwell.
Saw a play here
Great teachers with a friendly learning environment. Students are very happy at this school. Love it.
Best school ever
pls gibe air conditioning
Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate Institute (SJAMAC) is a very good school for everyone and it is the best school where students should attend. :)
Worst 2 years of my life.
What time does the school start?
How was it your worst 2 years?
going to study here!
This school sucks
I LOVE THE SCHOOL!!!!!
went there my whole grade school life. reallt good school
I believe it's a private school. I've only had the chance to use their pool which is impressive for a school, with its clear cerulean waters and Olympic size. Nice location.
I went to Don mills colliegate institute for best buddies program and I want to get to know the students and teachers overall everything about the school,it's a big high school that connects to Don mills middle school I want to work best buddies program with the students and teachers it has Variety's of students like special needs students their lunch taste very good also it's a excellent school
Some people bother you and some help.
gr8 school m8 i r8 8/8
The administrative staff at this school need to get it together. Every time I call the school the person answering the phone sound like I'm asking them to donate a kidney. A little less whining and a little more do-your-job, please.
School environment is pretty good, teachers are okay, and here's some useful advice: avoid talking to the gifted people here
Good one accurate
This is my school
This is my old school and i already miss going here and im passing grade 7........... The yard is huge; its like a mini- topham park and theres 2 soccer fields and a baseball diamond, its like one third the size of topham park. But why i rate it 4 is because the school only has 10 classroms plus 3 portables in 2013, and the gym is half the size as GA's gym! And second, when theres a festival during the weekend its really hard to study when theres tons of commotion 300 metres away!
I haven't been in the school but the yard is fantastic...my son plays soccer there! I can only assume from the great grounds-keeping that it would be just a lovely inside!
SUCH A FANTASTIC SCHOOL FROM STAFF AND TEACHERS TO ENVIRONMENT AND STUDENTS!!!
LOVE WOODBINE J.H.S!
Been here for middle school but that's years ago. It's was an life time experience and teachers were mostly good
This school has OK teachers and most of the students are horrible and unfriendly. In general, bad students, good teachers.
THIS PLACE IS A HOLE. Go to school anywhere else but here. Terrible.
Central Tech is/was an awful school in 2006
brown toilet paper
guns in student lockers
I spent most of time with goth kids in stoner back alley
tooooooo hot at school。 so disappointed
It an amazing school
I went to Central Tech in 2005-09. The pizza was still open(now subway sandwiches). this school accepts students from all over toronto unlike regular high schools. its the largest inner city school in gta and has many chinese students. i remember it as huge, cold, outdated, drug ridden and this school often had only the brown kind of toilet paper in every washroom. it also has a weird tradition of switching washrooms every two years, making girls washrooms guys washrooms and back and forth. the schools crest is a volcano. Its NOT as friendly as smaller schools. there is two separate groups of students, jocks hang out by the stadium and potheads by the art building. I was a pothead. i didn't bother going to prom
For THose of you that dont know this Schol was used in billy talents school ... lel :P
Can't even change my class.
I personally think Central tech is a good school as a former student, but its not the cleanest school.
So big is has a fcuking map
Too many stairs
I can get lost in it every day
I have cancer
There is no air conditioning in the school.Too hot to have class!
Great teachers and fantastic High Performing Athletic program.
